    ECU vs EPROM and flash module

    Here is a reference to help determine which EPROM you need with your ECU

    So, can I use an SST27sf512 in the non latched SBECs?

    I expect the SST27sf512 will work in the non "latched" SBEC2-652. I don't have any to test but I have tested many 27C256.

    Unless my memory is fuzzy; LM from 1985 to GLHS uses 2764 x 2 and 1987 LM uses a single 27128.

    Thanks Gary ,
    Yes I agree, my examples are chip that will work. Perhaps I should add a column that includes the stock chips.
    My main focus is the SBEC2-377 is similar EPROM wise to the SBEC but the SBEC2-652 is a totally different beast
    Many out there have tried to get the 652 working with an SBEC2 flash modules and it won't work. I do have a working prototype for the 652.
