I've done some searching and can't really find what I am looking for. Hopefully one of you can help me out.

I have an 83 Rampage that I am converting to turbo with an 89 Caravan 2.5 T1 engine. I have everything ready to go in except for the fuel pump. I would appreciate any and all tips on installing the electric fuel pump in a car that currently has the mechanical pump.

Can the pump be installed under the hood, or does it have to go near the tank. The Walbro is a positive displacement from what I've read, so theoretically it should work either way. Just wondering if you all could share your experiences.

What special parts will I need to connect it to the existing fuel line (not sure what size is already there)?

Where is the best place to make the electrical connections in the fuse box?

As always, any and all information is appreciated.
