    Vehicle Theft Security System Module

Has a method been found to bypass the security module? I’m embarrassed to admit that I can’t start my car b/c of a 30 year old security system.
I can’t get the module - which really hasn’t worked in 20 years of ownership - to stop flashing the lights. Locking and unlocking the doors has no affect, I can’t get the module into diagnostic mode, and I can’t start the car, a 1990 Daytona. I’ve tried three different SBECs and they are all “looking” for the security module.
    Thanks,
    Robert

So - short answer is that it can’t be bypassed, but it can be fooled into turning off. And then removed when the car is running. Lesson learned.
