    Lizard Skin

Shoots easy, cleans up even easier. Just waiting for the top coat to arrive and I'll throw the interior back in, then I can drive over to a friends house and hit the under side of the car to really seal in the flavor.

Sound Control, 2 coats. Masked the door holes from the outside, take the time and mask em from the inside. Even though nobody will ever see it, you'll feel better.

Don't forget the roof and A-pillars, they echo as much as any other metal will.

2 coats of Thermal Insulation on top of the Sound Control. Slightly darker.

Masked off from the insode if the door, mainly by filling the door cavity with thin plastic sheeting and taping it to the door to prevent the product from leaking onto window mechs.

Sound control usually means weight, what do you estimate the weight gain to be?

Barring a huge gain, it looks to be worth it, anxious to hear how effective it is for you...

I used it on my GLH and CSX a few years ago. I did the inside of the quarters, doors and roof as well. Great products! Much lighter than Dynamat with better results.

Did you use both sound and temperature control?

I used both. Sound control everywhere. Heat control where needed. Heat control is a little darker colored.

As far as weight goes, I'm not building a race car so I'm not too concerned with weighing down a 2100lb. car. As ajakeski said it weighs significantly less than dynamat, brown bread, etc. Any of the asphalt/tar based products and you don't have to roll it into all the corners. Super easy to apply and clean up. It sprays like pancake batter, cures like a pancake.

Can anyone speak to the durability as an undercoating?

It held up well on my GLH. I didn't drive the car in a Wisconsin winter, but 3 season use was fine.
