MPtune on an old MacBook Air

I didn't see much about running MPtune and MPscan on a Mac, so I thought I'd leave some notes just to say it can be done.

I have a mid-2012 MacBook Air to use in the car.
The Parallels app in the app store allows the installation of Windows 10 on the Mac, running seamlessly as a virtual machine.
On the virtual instance of Win10, I had no problem installing MPtune, MPscan, and EMUlator for the Ostrich.

Both USB devices, the Ostrich and the FTDI cable from BoostButton, were recognized and attached to the virtual machine without hassle.

There is another app called Duet available so you can use an iPad as a secondary monitor with your MacBook. So I am going to use the iPad as an MPscan digital gauge display. The touch screen portion of the iPad works as well, so you can hit record right on the pad and leave the MacBook on the seat or secured elsewhere while driving.
