Hey guys, I am redoing all the brake hard lines on my Omni GLH Turbo and I found that you can get 3/16" brake line at NAPA that has the spring guard just like the factory lines. They come in straight, prefabricated sections with the tube nuts and flare already done.

The longest section available is 60" (I think the come in 8", 12", 20", 30", 40", 51" and 60"), so the longer runs do require the use of a double flare union.

Here are some pictures of the longest section on my Omni that runs from the prop valve to the rear passenger side trailing arm. I used some mason string line and zip tied it to the original hard line to determine length (151" total) and then used two 60" and one 30" section along with two unions to make it.

It bends up easily, and the spring guard practically eliminates any chance of kinking. I was going to buy the NiCop hard tube from NAPA, until I saw that they sell the spring guard stuff so I'm glad I went this route instead. The new line is zip tied to the original in the photos to aid in bending it up just like the factory one.
