    Calibration Help

Hey guys stumbled across this thread, in hopes of it maybe helping me. I am still dealing with a 5k breakup/detonation issue, and after verifying ALL hardware and ALL wiring, timing, Fuel, ignition components, literally just about everything, My finger is pointing to either my SMEC, Ostrich, power board. I am not 100% convinced it is the SMEC just yet, but maybe something in the calibration that I am missing? If anyone could take a peak at my calibration and maybe see if anything looks out of the ordinary that would be appreciated. I have about 26 degrees of total timing when the issue happens. I used a Super 60 cal, AND a 85 2.2 Cal as references. ******Wont let me post up the cal ugh so Id probably have to email it to someone****
    mildly ported G Head
    1 piece intake
    HX35
    95 lb injectors
-6AN fuel line, 12 gallon cell
    AEM 400 pump
    Socketed SMEC with ostrich
    A520 trans with a plate

Super 60 cal is the worst cal you could have used, it doesn't have close loop as it doesn't take in information from the o2 sensor. It also doesn't take in information from the knock sensor.

Start another cal, use 89 SMEC, adjust for 3 bar map, change all the fuel requirement, leave the timing stock, and see if it still have the 5k issue. If the 5k issue goes away, the add timing.

Sorry, I mean I overlayed the calibration, I didn’t start with a super 60 cal, but more of a swirl based cal and changed the timing I matched up somewhat, not nearly as aggressive as the Super 60 cal, but better than s stock 85 T1 cal

Put it back to stock swirl timing.

What calibration did you start with? A. Turbonator one?

How do you know what your total timing is? A scan tool?

    How many pounds of boost?

    What is your A/F ratio?

Turbonator cal, was like a. Stage IV cal for swirl head. Compared and referenced the above super 60 and 85 T1 cals. Total timing show on a OTC4000e. The boost level has not seemed to
matter, im between 5-10 keeping it low to avoid any major
pronlems. It breaks up at 5k. And as far as AFR I’ve had it at 11.7-11.8, and even added fuel down to 10.5 too see if any change and there isn’t any.

Pm me and I can take a look at it, but it sounds like you have covered most of it. I have had issues with cheap / worn spark plugs causing similar issues but it seems like you have eliminated that option
