My 2001 Sebring 2.7 developed a slow leak that I haven't been able to pinpoint.

It's leaking from inside the bellhousing area and I'm hoping someone may have some input.

Relatively slow leak, about 1/2 qt in about 100 miles, leaves a spot when parked after driven.

A friend who's a great mechanic figured it must be the convertor seal and pulled it after hours.

Still leaked the same so he pulled it again and replaced the pump gasket and o ring, same leak.

It's very clean around the pump, bellhousing and converter and no sign of where its leaking from

Checked everything related to the pump, no bottomed bolts, good bolt seals, converter hub is fine .

Checked everything external, solenoids, cooler lines etc. and all is good and dry.

Still a very slow leak dripping from somewhere inside the bellhousing area.

Leaks the same after working on it as before we touched it!!

What did we miss??

Thanks
Randy
