I was just surprised all these years I don't think I've ever run into you. The NE club does have some get togethers. Summer BBQ at Jonny's in Vernon is a popular one.

Re: NOS TIII Proto head, NOS G head & 50 Trim FS

The last several years I've been working at start-up medical device companies which has left me with no time for hobbies. I work in Nashua right now so, if I'm not driving I'm working. This is why I've decided to let things go.It will be a few more years where I'm at and if it works out, I'll be moving west after that. It would be nice to attend car shows and events again!
There will be more parts posted as I get time.

Appears to be a MP G head, I didn't know they were available bare.

    Good score for someone!!

    Thanks

Pretty cool stuff! I can tell it's the real deal TIII prototype by the lack of air box attachment bosses like the production ones got. What happened to the proto short-block?

Never saw a short block. You can tell it was mocked up but, never a head bolt placed in it.
When I first got them, I wasn't up on what made it a proto-type. The valve covers where definitely pre-production. Then I saw a write up on "Jackson's" page that mentioned the 6-hole gears. What made it as you said "the real deal", are the lack of air box bosses and the pad/boss between the rockers. 5digits verified that information.

    Jim,
I feel the same press for free time, but if you need a hand with anything I'm in the area.

Yeah, you can almost tell how many times it's been bolted down by the witness marks of the head bolt washers. Certainly a good buy for someone. NOS and damn near perfect. I have a TIII prototype engine. It came with the "Shelby" valve cover though. I will have to look and see if mine had 6-hole gears.

    Dan,
I wish I knew you 5 years ago, I could of banged out the projects that are now lingering. I really appreciate the offer!
    iTurbo,
I would be interested in knowing what is different in the short block from production. The valve covers went to Lengel in a trade for TIII items. I have a fear that no matter how nice things are, this community is quickly disappearing so, big ticket items are going to be a tough sell.
