I received my Hawk LTS pads today from Rich for my winter use. The thought is they should be better in the wet/cold weather than the Hawk HPS.
I will give them a try and let you know.

Do you find that the HPS pads aren't the best in the cold/wet? I've never had a problem with them, but the Stop Tech pads on my Neon are noticeably poor performers in subfreezing weather. If I don't have a little heat in the brakes, I have to plan on longer stopping distances.
I have noticed, the HPS do heatup nicely even at 0F after a few stops. A 10 minute drive at freezing in the rain at 70mph they cool off but a bit of brake on the off ramp and they are back.
I would rather have good wet/cold for the winter on my DD as a bit too many Audi drivers think they are superman/superwoman in my neck of the woods.

I would like to report my finding on the winter use of Hawk LTS pads. I have used the car at 0F and they work great with good grip when cold. They also worked well with rain at freezing temperatures.
I think I may have found my Winter pads.

Good info. I have HPS and LTS pads for my Spirit R/T project I got from Rich. I live in Wyoming and winter driving is unavoidable....and it can get downright brutal cold here. I think I will just use the LTS pads and keep the HPS on the shelf.
I have Hawk HPS on my wife's V6 Accord. Have good quality slotted front rotors on the front and car stops very well in pretty much all conditions. No noise to speak of either.

DBA 4000 5000 series is a good rotor. Seems like a pretty innovative rotor. Used them a couple times.
Brembo Sport slotted. Always a good choice if you can find them for your application.
Centric high carbon 125 series is good. Cryo rotors available in Centric line. I bought some Centric GCX rotors that have held up well for winter use.
Stop Tech is Centric's fancy HP Line. Drilled and slotted.
I also have been using Raybestos advanced technology R-300 rotors with great results. They use a couple different coatings to deal with corrosion. Unique slotting.
Not sure what is all available for our old cars though.
