    Simulator research

Built an sbec simulator and posted the details in the electrical and fuel guru temple but didn't realize at the time that a lot of people can post comments to that thread so I will add this one for any questions or ideas that might help me out in making this better. Here is a few pics of the unit. So far I have simulated engine rpm, vehicle speed, coolant temp, throttle position, idle speed motor, oxygen sensor, auto shut down relay, ignition coil firing and injectors. I am currently working on the knock sensor signal.

Don't use photobucket, most can't see the pictures.

Who would be best to use to host images?

click "go advanced" rather than "quick reply".

then scroll down and click "manage attachments" and use that system to attach your images. it actually works.

Nice! any plans to document construction of it in depth? I could definitely use something like that right now. I have been fighting SBEC issues for nearly a year off and on.

I am just wiring up the sbec like it would be in a car. Small 12 volt motors turn the distributor and vss. I use bulbs in place of injectors and the coil. I have all the important stuff hooked up, just getting down the the emission control stuff now. I would be glad to help anyone else build one if they want to.
