    CA residents.. shipping restrictions?

I guess prop 65 is keeping me from getting parts delivered here in CA, is this just a temp measure until a system is in place to vet out all the products? Or is this permanent?

    I need to move..

Don't know, but I do know that there was a change in the law recently which states that the notification /sign will need to mention specific chemicals present... I'm not sure what else it may require. ..

One more example of liberal "help"...

Right, this is a recent thing.. I think sellers are scared of selling product in violation of the new 2018/2019 notification rules, even if the products themselves are the same ones I've been ordering since 1986. All I know is now I CANT GET MY STUFF!

I ordered R134a from Amazon, when I went to check on the delivery date, it had "disappeared", no notification, just like it was never placed... So I chalked it up to a glitch, and re-ordered, and had the same results, no communication by anyone, just a stealth cancellation of the order!!

I ordered from a different seller and it seems (the USPS claims to have a package coming my way) it is going through now, but at a higher price (naturally).

I suspect that the reason was that the cans they had didn't have the "Kalifornia required" valve, but I wouldn't doubt that it could be related to Prop 68.

My wife works for a sign company doing large projects (live/work, hospitals, etc) and she is having to deal with this situation, which I feel is an effort to correct the ridiculousness that is prop 68 (EVERYTHING CAN GIVE YOU CANCER/BIRTH DEFECTS!!).

But now, they want folks to list the primary chemicals in the area that are of concern. Problems is, for example at a pool, if one changes the chemicals used to to chlorinate, etc, then the publicly posted signs would need to be updated anytime a change is made...

One more example of "good intentions" having unintended consequences...

I agree with the "need to move" thing too! AZ/NV keep looking better and better!

It’ called fascism, ever and always the product of socialist corporatism and its zeal to plan and control the lives of others. The safety and health lobbies are natural allies of the planning regulatory state.

"To evolve, you don't need a Constitution. All you need is a legislature and a ballot box . . . . things will evolve as much as you want. All of these changes can come about democratically; you don't need a Constitution to do that and it's not the function of a Constitution to do that."
