    89-90 crossmember vs 91+

I have an 89-90 stamped arm crossmember, can I use the 91+ cast arms on this crossmember?
    Thanks!

They should bolt right in. I've made the swap from later arms to earlier arms with no problem. I believe the only issue would be with the later, larger Dynasty and 5th Avenue. Those cars with the heavier axles had a different K frame and arms from what I've read.

Dynasty has the same k frame (minus the bobble strut bracket). Arms and knuckles are different.

What's the difference with the arms and knuckles?

Are they wider? Different caster etc?

I looked it up and they showed different part number IIRC. The k frame was the same part number as all the other automatic k car k frames. I'm putting a dynasty dual pivot k frame in my lancer.

That's interesting. I definitely recall someone posting pictures years ago of the Dynasty arms no fitting a K frame. perhaps the guy's K frame was just messed up, but that does strike me as odd.

This is an 89 or 90 dynasty k frame with arms from a lebaron or p body. Can't remember. Has energy suspension bushings. Working on drilling + tapping my stock 87 SL sway bar for end links.

According to the ever reliable Wikipedia, there was a wheelbase change in 91. That's probably when they used the different arms.

In the knowledge center there is a write up on the crossmember and control arms. There seems to be a small difference. Check it out
