    A413 Parts Rebuild

Well, I guess my trans does need overhauling. Someone is selling a 1989 turbo trans with a new torque converter (PN R4713160), new oil pump says 89 Caravan non lockup (PN 4412525), new bearings, rebuild kit (PN 5241071), new steel and fiber clutch pack discs, and new gaskets for $150 along with some 1990 parts for lock up torque converter trans. Does this sound like a good deal? Is it hard to hook up a overdrive ? Will I need any other parts?

id use a neon lockup torque converter myself. roller bearing rather than bushings. use a neon valve body and input shaft and a turbonator cal that has the lockup hacked into it. drill a hole in the case for the lockup.

the part number that you listed for the converter is a carburated converter.

ive had neon 3 speeds 250k miles with mediocre maintenance. the bushed turbo and tbi torque converters filled the trans with crap in 100k+ miles.
