Logic Module adapting to program changes

How long does it take for the L/M to adapt to a change in the program and what determines it.
The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic dollars, how fast can you afford to go?

    Not super long.

It will adapt in vacuum, closed loop situations. Not into boost.
