Question Help - 1989 Chrysler TC Boost Gauge Wiring

I'll keep this nice and short. Basically I decided to wire up a digital boost gauge in my 1989 Maserati TC.

I ran a power wire from the battery to the wiring harness on the gauge. This wire is supposed to be the constant 12v supply. Then there is a orange wire that is supposed to be a remote wire that is supposed to tell it when to turn on and off, I hooked this wire up to the 10AMP fuse that is for the Radio.

Everything works fine the first start-up. The gauge comes on when the ignition is put into the ON position. But when I turn the car off the gauge doesn't turn off and continues to pull 12v.

My question is, is there something i'm doing wrong or am I using the wrong spot? Also how do you guys have your digital boost gauge wired.

    Thank you!
