    Wagon with "wide body" kit

Saw this wagon at SEMA and it got me thinking.
It is too extreme for what I want to do BUT the idea is the same.
As most of you know I have one of the 52 made, turbo Plymouth turbo wagons.
Now with the "raffle" engine in it.
This winter project is getting back to the wagon.
Before having it painted, I think I want to flare the wheel wells a bit so I can run my
8" wide Revolution wheels and wide autocross tires.

    Thoughts and ideas?

What offset are the wheels? I'm mocking my lancer up for an 16x8 +20. I'll get pictures if it helps.

first in the same "mean it in a good way" - you SURE you wanna ....up THAT wagon ??

but I ask wanting to do the same with my charger

and at the beginning of the month I almost bought an ebay set of 86 supra flares
you know , just to see ..

same flat across the top wheel arch as my charger - and looks like K car ?
    maybe , stock supra tire is 225 60 14 .. I think

front ones have a bottom that will allow you a start blending into a spoiler or air dam
they have a single row of studs along the center of the width of the flare
they have molded in mudflaps on the rear corners that give you something to attach to , blend to or simply hack off

as a simple similar shape to start with and a gallon of green short strand fiberglass filler , AND a hacksaw ...

Have you seen the "clevo commando" hot rod magazine guys did up with TJ flares? I think that is the best way to go.. find some oem flare out there with the right shape, cut, tack it on, no filler, no blending.

I suggested the filler for changing the shape to fit as needed , not bonding the flare to the car, to make a bolt on

Yes they only made 52 of these and no one cares. I will do with this car as it pleases me!
If I dont do it or if I do, price to sell it some day is still "no much!

I don't know about the K wagons, but I think I could pretty easily get 8" wheels under my CSX if I were to roll the arches. My Lancer looks to be a different story. Either way, it's worth checking out unless you're just going for looks.

I think Jon Trotter has 8" wheels on his GLHS.

Figure out how wide you want and check with body shops. I know my shop does it on crash repairs when parts are not available. Promise to give them recognition on both sides should drop the price?!
