    Description:
Okay, here's the history of this AMS500....I had it on my car for a few years but it didn't get much use as I wasn't driving it. When I got to driving my car again last year this AMS unit went bad. I was super pissed but was out of warranty since I owned it for so long. I emailed AMS and the tech told me to send him the unit and he would see if there was anything he could do. I sent it and he eventually got back and said the map sensor went out and the unit was not serviceable...He offered me a 10% discount on a new unit. I bought a BoostLeash unit instead lol. But, I started thinking about trying to change the map sensor myself but had no idea what sensor I needed or if I could get it. AMS pours epoxy all over the board and sensors so you can't see anything. After a couple hours of heating and removing all the epoxy, I had the map sensor out and was able to read a part# on it. It was a $10-20 part. I ordered one, re-soldered it to the board and bench tested the controller...FIXED. I poured fresh clear epoxy on the board and buttoned it up. I was gonna save this unit as a backup but, I decided to sell it.

Unit test good. Comes with Solenoids and harnesses. Bottom of case is cut(where the screw on connections are)from removing the boards but not visible/noticable with cover on. Offering a 14 day warranty to give you time to install and test the unit completely. If anything is not right just send it back for full refund minus shipping. Retail is $450.
