All the 1989 CSX's had 9 ( shelby ) in the sixth digit of thier VIN ..... as in 1b3bp94A_________.
But I have a 88 CSX-T ,with 9 ( shelby ) in the sixth digit of its Vin ........as in 1b3bs94E_______.
This is car number 822.
I have never seen another CSX-T with 9 in the sixth digit.
As in all chrysler cars.......the 6th digit represents the trim level of the specific car..... 9 was reserved for some later model shelby's.
Checked the Chrysler dealer dial system, and vin number showed valid.... being sold to Shelby Auto in 3/88
I thought all the Thrifty's had 1b3bs44E issued to them ?
How many Thrifty's came that way,and were some issued 9 for a special reason ?
