    87 csx LM interchange?

I'm planning a trip to my favorite junk yard, I heard there was an 87 shelby daytona. Will that LM fit my 87 CSX? Is it specific in any way? I looked in the knowledge center before posting here, but I can't find the info.

    yes.

i believe its a different calibration but it should work provided both vehicles are T2.

    87 CSX cal is #079.

    87 T2 Shelby Z is #171.

    differences are minimal IIRC.

doesnt matter at all if you are going to socket it and roll your own cal....

You can also convert a Turbo I logic module to TII by swapping the EPROM.

I bought an '87 CSX about 10 years ago and it turned out to have a reman logic module that was meant for an '87 Shelby Charger. Needless to say, it never ran right and was throwing a huge list of codes. I swapped in the original LM from my '87 Shelby Lancer and it fixed everything. It was the #079.
