A photo showing the items you have for sale/trade needs to have a piece of paper with your username and date included in the photo.

The above details are not optional. This is to protect buyers... just put yourself in their shoes.

I had Monroe GP's on my GLHT also. I bought them from a Chrysler supplier here in Detroit, and put them on (this would be about 1992). They rode so stiff that when I had the chance, I put on a new set of the orange Eibach struts, With those in the least positive position, they rode fairly well. When I sold the car a couple of years ago, the Eibach's were still on it.

Part number on boxes are 24099 and 29067. I was told they were for a GLH.

I can confirm 29067 is front strut for l-body. I also have a set NIB as well. MP # P4452140 is on label on box, 29067 SOP.

If you gonna keep the GLH for good, I'd recommend getting a set of coilover and never look back.

I had GR2, Sachs, Gas-a-just, and now Koni. I wish I didn't waste money on the GR2, Sachs, and Gas-a-just and gone straight to Koni.

Re: NOS Formula GP struts and shocks

I know two people that wish they never spent the money and time installing yellow Koni coil-overs. Both purchased a second set of the softest springs vendors had available trying to soften the ride, and both still HATE the way it rides. Buddy of mine recently had a set of Koni's rebuilt for his 86 GLHS and adjustable feature was non-functional when he got them back. Koni of North America subcontracted the strut and shock rebuilding out to someone else! Struts felt like they were set on max firm or beyond that. You can't push any corner of vehicle down even 1/8"! Almost un-drivable on the street. Pretty much need a mouth guard to drive the vehicle any distance. One of my GLHT's have had Koni's with LRE springs on them for the last 30 years. Rides WAY, WAY, better than the freshly rebuilt Koni's.
So after riding in those cars, I'm not convinced Koni coil overs or current rebuilds are the answer either.
Yeah I agree, GR2's might be okay for an N/A Omni America, but they are not by any stretch, a performance shock. I would love to find some Gas-a-just struts/shocks for L-bodies. Maybe make some AGX adjustable ones work?

For sure this gold GLH Turbo I got last year is a keeper. After a lot of thought, I just want to keep it pretty close to stock. On my old black/tan GLH Turbo, I used GR2 struts and GAJ shocks and I was pretty happy with it. I really think I would be happy with just having new GR2 shocks/struts on the gold GLH.

I actually have a set of new-in-box BC coil-overs for the L-body from Rich Bryant, his custom dual pivot K-frame yada yada.....but this isn't the car for that stuff...These Monroe Formula GPs sound like they would be perfect for what I want.

The Formula GP struts and shocks I got for my 89 CSX, were firm enough to autocross and take on/off-ramps at speed. I got them on ebay in 2015. Haven't seen a set for sale since.

Re: NOS Formula GP struts and shocks

    I've sent email....

At any rate I finally got shipment/tracking on the KYBs I ordered through Amazon. I'm thinking I'll be happy enough with those.

I think they must have already sold because *crickets*. And I am a serious buyer...
