    Running wires through firewall.

I am looking for a good solution to run some wires through the firewall.

I don't want to just stab wires through an existing grommet like the throttle cable, speedometer cable etc.

I'd like to drill a hole and install some sort of bulkhead connector.

Any ideas that you guys have used?

    Thanks.

Did you want to get fancy, and use an actual Deutsch bulkehead connector?

Those are very cool and work extremely well. I deal with those at work daily.

I'm more looking for just a simple hole to pass wires through since they will be of various sizes, styles etc etc.

Basically I'd like something that's rubber and can just have wires pushed through and the rubber will stretch to size if that makes any sense.

I think I may have found a solution that'll work for me.

A very simple solution is a gromet like this from Daystar.

There are always several vacant slots in the factory bulkhead connector. You could get some pins and use that.

4 or 5 wires fit nicely in the grommet for the hood release cable Some cars have an un-used grommet location. But it's usually lower down.
