    Replacement Battery Clamps

I was putting my R/T back together recently and I noticed my cable clamps are cracked. I would like to replace mine with some quality clamps, I would like to stay away from the cheap wire clamps or the car audio screw terminals. I have a few upgrades on the stock wiring so I will need larger clamps than just what the factory wires require. On the ground side, I have added another 4 gauge ground wire and on the positive side, i have also added a 4 gauge power wire that goes to a power distribution block. Any ideas what I should use?? Need to be able to do this in car as well.

BWD makes the factory solder-in terminals, you can buy them at Oreilly's. They are in the BWD Wire and Cable book behind the counter if they say no

Thank you! Does anyone know what size the wires are on a factory TIII car? I know I will need larger terminals than stock.

Do you want exact OEM'ish appearance or something that will allow a more modular approach ? If OEM then you need to determine the wires and their combined AWG size and find the appropriately sized crimp or solder type terminal. http://www.remybattery.com/cable-con...onnectors.html or http://www.remybattery.com/cable-con...onnectors.html

For a more modular approach I like the 'marine' style terminals with a post and wing nut https://www.walmart.com/ip/Everstart...&wl13=&veh=sem The bonus being you can replace the terminal easily should it crack again. You would crimp on the appropriately sized ring terminals and stack them on.

Pretty sure the factory cables are 8awg? Not positive though.
