I think I have a 89 turbo shadow / manual trans harness. Bumper to bumper. I’ll see if I can dig it out.

have you seen an 88 K car smec harness?

it still used the bulkhead connector at the firewall - NOT the rubber gromit like the other 88's started doing

and fyi - IF you swap to the rubber gromit in the firewall the round hole you need to make is the same diameter as the square hole - IF you measure the square hole diagonally corner to corner

so essentually you need ro remove a D shaped piece on each side of the square 50 way bulkhead connector hole

I have a 88 turbo z I'm going to be parting out. I want to sell the engine first as I would like to show the possible buyer that the engine runs. If you don't need it ASAP I could probably help you out.

i wanna try my LM to SMEC conversion first. so no rush. each of you, lemme know how much for each harness shipped to 14569. PM is fine. thanks.

honestly, i like the idea of keeping the SMEC logic board in the passenger compartment even if the battery temp sensor isnt seeing the correct temp. for using an ostrich and preventing the SMEC logic board socket area from being exposed to water, the passenger compartment is great. i may use some wire to extend the battery temp thermistor from the board to near the battery for accuracy..

I've got an 88 J body harness that I had started to add a charge temp wire to. Are you coming to SDAC?
