Ok, heads up people!
This is happening! Thanks for eveyone that expressed interest and committed to this.
I heard back from John Donato today and he said timeline should be 3-4 weeks. The only thing that could change that would be any delays from the heat treatment company. But John has already spoken with them.

This is how we will proceed:
Everyone on this list needs to PM me their full name. (Some of you I know already, but others I don't know. So everyone should just do this to be sure. Thanks!)
I will provide that list to John.
Each participant will contact Donato Engineering directly, and place their order with payment to him.
Once our full list of participants are paid for, he will proceed with machining these.

This should go pretty smoothly if everyone sticks to their committed count, and makes payment quickly.

If anyone is wavering, you better think quickly and contact me!

Once i have everyone's name and i send the list to John, I will post info to contact him to place your orders.

If there was an estimate on an affordable converter I might hold one of these for someone else. He is not sure about covering total project cost. When I got my 300m shaft in the mail, I never realized they were so small.

I was going to have PTC modify my converter, and they estimated about $350 to rebuild and change that at the same time.

Chad, all the information I have is already in this thread.
The only difference I heard of was what Warren posted about some 904 shafts having the pilot nose and others not.
From Donato, it sounds like all the a904 with lockup had the pilot nose as well as being hollow.
These billet shafts are NOT for lockup application, they are solid, and DO NOT have the pilot nose.

If there is still some question, i would advise waiting to mod the converter. I believe Warren added a pic earlier in the thread also if that would be of help.
