Welp, when putting new bearings in this transmission there was far more metal build up on the magnet than the bad counter shaft + bearing showed missing if that makes any sense.
I decided to drive the roll pin out of the differential and boy am I glad I did. This was ready to grenade at any moment.
Emailed Chris to see how long a quaife will take to get in my hands.
So much for getting the Mini on the road tomorrow.
***In case the Quaife will take a long time does anyone have a good set of spiders + pin or can someone point me to the right direction to buy new?
