    Camber Plate Cross-reference?

Is there another application camber plate that would work as-is on a 1st gen minivan?
There are similar looking bolt patterns on some cars when just viewing parts, but not sure if they would measure the same. NSRT4 is close.

I like the BC ones that Rich has to convert to our old stuff, but $200 just for the camber plate is a bit steep when I have other items in the wish list too.
There are some universal ones that you have to drill, and there is always using ones and redrilling the strut tower.

Just checking to see what is easiest and cost reasonable.
    Thanks!

Slot the struts. It doesn't get any cheaper, faster, and easier.

I'm going to use some coilovers, and wanted to explore other options that wouldn't require slotting the present holes.
If i have to open up the center hole more, and lose the radius that provides additional support, i don't want to further compromise the strut tower by slotting or swiss-cheezing it further.
I think most folks are using some type of strut tower bar as some additional support is regained with the upper plate.

If you haven't checked Ground Control, thats a good option to consider and where I started with my coil-over conversion years and years ago.

    Camber bolts or camber plate.

I used camber plate for my Omni and camber bolts for my Insight.

Are we talking about the same thing? Because some factory does it, and strut companies do this on some struts as well..

    Ebay. search. Universal Camber Plate.

comes up with a few plates that arent drilled yet.

Simply buy one that looks "close".

Take out your strut. Place this plate on your strut. paint mark the bolts on the oem strut.

use that as a template for drilling the universal plates.

at least this is my plan. i would hope the mitsubishi ones would work.
Or you can get 1G or 2G neons possibly. i heard the rear neon struts bolt onto G J P bodies?

If you really wanna parts house check it.

Grab a strut. go to parts counter. ask for strut mounts from neon. lancer. WRX. E30 BMW looks good too.
    and try them out.

then just order a ebay set from those and redrill it. just gotta make sure the shaft fits first.
