Change Matchbox...need rust free doors & hatch...glass all around, stock bumpers

Looking to do a change to Matchbox, wanting rust free door with roll up windows, hatch with glass, and stock bumpers. Reason being...I want to do a turbo swap on it too and drag race it in the National Muscle Car Association World Street Finals in September, a True Street Class....won in my PT Cruiser GT, want to win a world title in the Matchbox.

Also wanting a turbo swap. At its current 1910 lb weight only 200 hp is needed to run in the high 12s...would need more than that after these heavier items are added. Also will put in a passenger seat and belt so the current future Mrs. Taylor can ride in it...not to mention A/C! Getting old and hate hot weather!

    That's a lot of weight you're adding.

Agreed. And honestly, a lot of work. Why not just find another car to start with?

Swapping doors on an L body is a crap shoot. Both halves of the hinges are welded. I've seen fit differences or a quarter inch or more.

The car you're planing to build sounds like the GLH I want to sell.

It is a sentimental thing...as far as adding wt, plan is to add hp too. Another option is to just put added hp and then only add glass to my current doors and hatch. Id love another car, but have three already and I would loose a fiancée if I added one more.
