ill just add a switch where the 12v power comes in.

i dont always save my logs if i have the display logging but yet im just driving around.

No problem on the wait time from me. You guys are building, what i feel are some fairly custom electronics for us. I'm not all that savvy for figuring out tech issues, so ensuring it works & isn't buggy makes it worth it to me.

I do know we still have to resolve the inability to safely flash SBEC with the existing mpscilink versions. We need some circuit protection added to the end of the cable, similar to the protection integrated into the BoostButton FTDI cable diagnostic connector board, to protect against the 12v back feeding the mpscilink com port wire and frying something.
(This only affects the users with Flashable SBEC, so it is a very small number of customers, but we do need to test a solution. Which is one reason for me getting an ECU to try to resolve.)

I just so happen to have a high torque (supposedly) T1 SBEC from a 90 Lebaron GTC sitting on my shelf. I was going to use this one to be my flashable socket mule. Flashable SBEC is EXACTLY what I am going to be working with in the Shadow, so when you get around to it, let me know how this pans out!!!!

Ok, I'll try to get it out this week.

My plan is to make some progress with Dragweek prep this week. I'll be concentrating my free time towards that in hopes I can actually make it.

Things would certainly be easier if it was a scam! Then i could have just paid someone to get the van ready for dragweek instead of having to bust my own butt!

Repaired a customer's mpscilink that had a faulty bluetooth module.
Modified the board to use a stock configuration BT (no solder rework of the BT module pins).
This is a sort of sneak peak to the v2.7 which is planned to have a 90 deg header for PnP bluetooth replacement.
The production version will have a slightly more elegant connector.

I'm going to test on the van. It seemed a bit finicky on Slug. Want to make sure its not a problem with the device.

    Re: MPSciLink starting a Group3 Pre-Order

I just entered the rabbit hole last night and I think this could be the ticket for me. I was looking at Arduino boards and displays last night. I want to log my Wideband along with all of the other data. Looking to add a fuel pressure sensor, oil pressure sensor, and also tie my EGT sensor into this as well. Looks like I have all 4 analog inputs used up! I really think this could do it all!
I apologize for not having the time to read all of the posts. I do have a couple of quick questions that I was hoping could be answered.

Will this work with BoostButton's flashable TIII SBECII ECU?

How would I change the tunes and flash my ECU (currently boost-strapping), would I need to run this in parallel with my boost button cable?

Would I still be using MPTune to tune the ECU and flash it. I have gotten very good with MPTune and I don't want to loose my Turbonator E85 TIII tunes.

Thanks for bringing another great product to the community!

Alot of those questions are answered in this thread. More information here

    There's several videos also.

I can try to answer specific questions later tonight.

    Re: MPSciLink starting a Group3 Pre-Order

Thanks for being patient with us. Too many family/work related distractions over the last few months. I was hoping to find the 5 or 6 hours to get the CSX on the road this summer but it will have to wait until after the MPSciLink boards are assembled.
I finished the electrical/mechanical review of the PCB and placed the order yesterday. We ordered Green. Red and Blue boards, so I you have a preference please let Wayne know.
The boards should arrive before I return from my family vacation circa mid September. We have complete parts inventory for the first 15 and critical parts for the remaining units, the jellybean parts should arrive prior to assembly of unit 16. My thought is to send out those DIY kits in the first 15 to Wayne as soon as possible. As my son and I are volunteering our time to assemble and test these units, we will start to assemble the remaining units ASAP.
If you need your unit urgently, please let Wayne know. If you are not in a rush, please let Wayne know as well.
Thanks again and may the boost be with you.
