Soldering socket and installing flashable module

First I’m sorry for posting I wanted to try to private rob m as I know you bought boost buttons Cals but I couldn’t get pictures to load. I ordered the socket and flash module thinking it was more straight forward. I’m not sure how the socket should be solder in as it doesn’t look like it can go both ways. Also chip can go either way. Should have bought it already soldered in but thought why not I’m pretty decent with de soldering and soldering exact parts. Any help would be great can also do it privately so it’s not interfering with anybody’s business. Thanks
