    factory ecm mods

Is anyone still altering the ecu on the Mitsubishi 3.0 ? I contacted Boostbutton and got no replies. Just looking for a little more performance than the factory ecu.

Boostbutton has changed hands. The new owner is working on 3.0 stuff, but it's still not mature. There's a few threads highlighting this.

So who bought him out? I thought he "Shelgame" had a few ecu's out that he had worked on, and had some better tunes. Since the first thread I saw was over 7 years old, I am guessing, nothing for N/A will ever happen. Thanks for the heads up. Not interested in MS either, so it is what it is.

I did. I've been using my car as a test bed for the 90-91 SBEC 1 cal. It's kinda slow going as I work full time as a mechanic and try to do family stuff/household work on the weekends, but it's coming along. Ondonti is sending wowzer a 92-up SBEC 2 computer to dump the .bin from and get started on those. I'm also still learning soldering/desoldering and trying to buy equipment to do so.

Sent that ecu. I could be impatient, but I've had two motors apart in my garage for a few months now and don't do anything with them after work...Someone getting chores done gets a high five from me!

i got it. just haven't had time to get the bin pulled off it yet. what did this sbec 2 come out of? the chip tag is a4686625 which i can't locate in any of my ecu listings..... code on the board itself is rev e 4517652.

btw, there already is the turbonator tbec2 version available, as well as the 4714122 (92 2.5 5sp).

I have quite a few 92-95 ecu. They normally read up as 93 on the scanner even if they are not...My 5 speed are probably all 1992-1994 P body for my 5 speed ECU. I found the only difference is rev limiter. I logged timing at it was the same WOT. I video recorded scanner to prove real life results. Timing seemed similar to the old 1989 WOT.
The oddball 5 speed 3.0 sbecII ecu would be Daytona or incredibly more rare, Lebaron.
