Picked the van up the day before our scheduled Cecil invasion, but got cancelled. Tried once since then, but i had to cancel.
So now, several weeks later I'm gearing up for whst mught be my last chance to race for this year.

So in between trying to work on some mpscilink order stuff, i need go make sure the van is ready for a good showing.

No big changes really, and honestly. The work at Brian's was mostly maintenance repairs.
-Trans rebuild, and still using same torque conv.
- Cometic headgasket replaced and block decked (overall CR unchanged, by using a different gasket thickness)
- since engine was apart anyway, it got fresh bearings, and i used this opportunity to swap in some better rods (BC H-beam rods)
- fuel thank mods not in place yet, so i'll still have to race eith 1/2 tank!

Other bits were new driveshaft, exhaust mod, and a tow point on the front.

Still have the 1.05 transfer gears installed. And racing on 3 y.o. slicks.

I've only even driven her twice since picking up, so it may be a bit too early to say I'll be tfying for a record. But i will be trying to get some new data to compare to old runs, and we'll see what it shows.
If i can work up to a 25psi pass before the end of the day, I'll be very happy.

If anyone wants to join in, you are more than welcome.
