    Daytona Louvers fitment and some Q's on them

    Trying to figure out what these fit for another TM user. These were pulled off of an 88 (may have been an 87,it was long ago...) Daytona and are aluminum 12 slats and have all the mounting pads and hardware. Even have the little prop legs on the underside' From what I could search for they general consensus is they fit 84 thru 91 Daytona's.

    Could not locate any part numbers, etc... on them.

    there are no part numbers on the rear window louvers

    they fit 1984-93 G Bodies

    twelve slat fits turbo z and daytona / lazer with wrap around spoiler, NO spoiler OR wing

    11 slat fits 84-86 daytona / lazer WITH wing

    11 slat also fits 87-93 with wrap around rear spoiler with wing center section

    only reason for the 11 slat is to be able to clear the leading edge of the wing when raising the louver off the glass

    12 slat also fits all with no spoiler

    to add an 11 slat is a 12 slat louver with the bottom most slat cut off flush with the rear edge of the slat above it

    A 12-slat WILL fit a wrap-around wing, BUT, you can't just lift them up, you have to take them off to get to the glass.

    Weren't the first generation louvers more squared off on the bent sections? Or have I just seen some after market sets on first gen daytonas?

    the original mopar accessories brand louvers , 11 and 12 slat are exactly the same except for the bottom slat

    direct connection/mopar performance had a line of louvers that were different
    these had aluminum slats but plastic ends
    the ends were molded to look like a continuation of the slats but there was no gap between the slat sections on the plastic

    so they kinda sucked

    there was a couple of aftermarket louvers . one was a mile high above the window and looked cartoon-ish
