Well, at long last, the remaining orders should go out tomorrow.
Some of you might get a tracking email, others i will try to get tracking updated.
There is one order going to Canada, so i will need to figure out the best shipping at the post office.


I scrambled today to try to get everything prepped before getting called in to work tonight.

With things at work, it may be difficult for me to be as available to help when you set your gear up. But I will try, and there are a few others out there that have made it through the setup steps.

I haven't received a reply from the builder after my latest comments to him.
Not sure if i posted up additional pics of his interpretation, a first prototype display enclosure. But here are some pics. I prefer a thinner overall packaging for those that will simply mount in some sort of small tablet holder.










At this point I can try to soldier on to get what i envision, but it may be a better help to get an end user to develop a mounting solution. My idea would allow panel mounting, provided the front panel had a wider bezel. But putting the 7" display anywhere in the dash or console might be a bit of a challenge.

Also, Ive only done limited testing without a wired display attached.
I don't think you should encounter much problem, but you will get a "False" for Nextion display available when checking Module Settings.

Been alerted of an issue with the recent deliveries.
Can you please check your enclosure kit to verify the enclosure came with (4) aluminum standoffs?
Let me know if you are missing.
The enclosure builder packaged these kits and in my rush to get them out didn't notice at least some are missing the standoffs.
I know of a couple already.

I've got extra screws and no standoffs.

There should be (4) short cap head (for the top panel), (2) longer cap head with nuts (for the sd card slot trim plate), (4) short philips head (for the bottom panel), (4) 38mm standoffs, and (2) longer philips head with nuts to attach the arduino mega to the bottom panel. There are two acrylic spacers to go under thr mega to support it from the bottom panel.

I'm not sure. If they are, they are clear anodized.

Update: the vendor who supplied the enclosures will ship the missing standoffs to customers directly.

Although i scanned the barcode so i could have traking updates, somehow my USPS app didn't save them. So on all these last 11 i don't have shipping updates.
But, you should have received a tracking number. If not, I have the receipt with the number.
Expect 10-14 days since i wasn't going to pay $45 for priority!
