Does anyone have a 1988 TI SMEC bin file? I want take a look at it since it uses 27lbs injectors instead of 33lbs like the 1989 SMEC TI/TII.
Thanks.

What program would you use to open those stock bin files? MPtune and MPtuner don't work.
i downloaded and looked quickly at all the 88 2.2 t1 cals and they were set up for 33 according to the dcal table (tbl) file!?? anyhow, you can look at the old stock cals by:
1) download zip file
2) extract it
3) start mptune and select miscellaneous/update to ver 2
4) open the "table file" you extracted and save the new mpt file
5) open up the "bin" file
you will get ALOT of errors since the old dcal table files were not complete and contained numerous errors. if you are just "looking" then hopefully the tables you are interested in loaded ok.

Thanks wowzer!
A friend got a CSX-T and it has 4418474 injectors and an SMEC without a part number sticker on it.
Everywhere I read says 4418474 is a 27lbs injectors and this says there is a mid year change on 88 for the injectors from 27lbs to 34lbs.

Wowzer, do you have any other 88 SMEC bin files other than the posted ones?
i do not. the 982 cal superseded the 242 cal so it's "possible" the 242 cal could be a 27 lb cal. THAT IS ONLY A GUESS!!! i'm sure someone out there knows the answer. worst case would be to compare the cals.
if you can get the bin off it i could disassemble and see what cal it is.
