Actually what I also need to know is how high it makes the rubber end of the clutch cable stand off the case.

Randy, your 3rd attempt worked; however, I've seen that drawing before. It doesn't help. What's it made of? BTW, I can't see your image 61484.
Don't feel bad about no computer expertise. I've used them professionally since 1985 and all I can say is I hate them with a purple passion. You're lucky you don't have my computer history.
ps: email in private message.

It's made out of rubber. I have a NOS one somewhere. I'll get a picture soon if you'd like

Chris,
The grommet you're talking about is the rubber grommet / spacer that is supposed to go between the plastic end of the clutch cable and the fork? Not the one that PB makes, which is between the fork and the clutch cable ball end? (This would be a reproduction of 5206244)
I'm interested because if there is a poly 4377825 being made, I want one.
Thanks
Edited for clarity?
Krut & Chris & Randy: I got Randy's pic via email. I see the same image above here on his third try. I spoke with Chris today on the phone and no, Krut, there's no poly part available. He thought I wanted the rubber grommet on the clutch lever. I want the spacer or isolator that goes on top of the case between the case and the cable outer sheath. I spent days looking for a PHOTOGRAPH of that, but all I've found are DRAWINGS. Still no luck.
What's it made of?
How tall is it?
Is it really necessary?
Thanks, guys.

That grommet which goes in both holes is a rubber piece.
Thanks, cordes.
Barry and John thanks for the input.
Its no fun getting old and dumb!!

That rubber piece is keeping the cable from rubbing on the trans case.
No dealer has one? That was used in all the 80's trany's I believe.
