Guys, I never had to do brakes on any of these cars with this style brake. How does the rectangular clip go on the upper slide of the caliper bracket? Thanks.

Not sure if they are exactly the same or not, but here is the tutorial I used to help me with the brakes on my Daytona:

Those are the little clips and I might be able to use them. This is a single rectangular clip this looks like it slips over the top of the pads/bracket, assuming I am assuming correctly!!
Thanks for the link, I may look at trying those clips. Looks like a chilton or factory manual is needed.

A man has got to know his limitations.....
The clip hooks over the end of the caliper bracket on the little stub portion at the outboard end where the pads don't contact during use, it pushes up to set the spring preload and the inner brake pad swings into place to hold it upward while you load the rotor and outboard pad.
