I have a same side inlet/outlet FMIC I want to put in my 91 R/T, but keeping the A.C. is a must. Doing an eyeball inspection doesn't give me any clues how to run the pipes, so can anyone who's done a project like this give me the lowdown?
Thanks

I went with a opposite side end tank Spearco, in part because it was already tested in another car, and i don't like the thought of blocking so much airflow from the radiator and condenser that you get with the typical same side configuration.
What i hate about the cheap intercoolers are the small end tanks that have such a reduced volume at the corners.
Can get pics if you want.
(Did you post the same to FB?)

Get rid of the Same side inlet outlet setup or you'll have to run a pipe to the passenger side. After that it's easy. Open 2 factory holes next to the bumper supports after re-routing some wiring a bit, run up to a 3" OD pipe through the holes, and to the turbo and the intake. Done
Pics? I have an RT I need to put a fmic in also. Not wanting to cut the body up too much, but something minimal and not obvious would be ok.
I was considering finding a shorter AC condenser (L-body maybe?) and then removing the stock intercooler and going through that hole.
Damn. Since the vendors sell same side intercoolers I went this route thinking it was a pretty universal thing.
No pics really needed. There's 2 holes just inside the bumper supports. You can't miss them. Take some measurements of what you think can fit height and width wise and purchase an ic. I did this with my 1st gen cummins i/c in my 87 Daytona, also in a 91 Shadow with the same style ic. We did a friends 91 Lebaron with a smaller i/c off Ebay. Also did a Govt issued wagon turbo with a bigger ebay i/c. All cars retained the factory a/c systems and radiators and weren't even removed during assembly.
