1989 Shelby CSX #257. I am the second owner of this car since 1991. Purchased from the original owner with about 60K on it. It now has 114XXX miles on it. No Recaros. Fiberides have Goodyear Gatorback 225/50VR15 tires mounted but this is not one of the cars that came with the wide tire option. The Gatorbacks are show only. I do not consider them driveable. Currently has 16 inch Daytona wheels with 205/55ZR16 Yokohamas mounted on it. Car has become a garage queen and deserves better. This car was driven regularly up to about 2005. This car is titled as a Shelby.

Car has the following mods:

• Neil Emiro SBEC for vehicle with unmodified exhaust
• Strut tower brace
• Ed Peters SLH front brake package, gas grooved rotors, larger master cylinder.
• Eibach springs
• Koni rear shocks

Paint overall is very good. Chips on hood, airdam/fascia and behind wheels. Interior very good with Shelby mats. Front mats are worn but not junk. Wear on carpet near accelerator pedal. New carpet (not installed) is part of the sale. Steering wheel has some scratches in the leather but still presents well. Mopar Performance oil pressure gauge mounted on side of instrument pod. New headliner, but visors need to be done. Infinity stereo installed, but needs to be replaced/repaired. I may have an original stereo to put in it.

NOTE: Infinity stereo has been fixed.

Newer items:

• Eibach springs. Monroe Formula GP struts. Koni shocks.
• Strut bearings.
• Windshield glass (Mopar) and NOS Shelby decal.

Known issues:

• Noisy lifter on start. Clears up after a couple of minutes
• Clutch throwout bearing noisy. Been that way since I bought
• A/C inop. Converted to 134. Needs condensor and compressor. Both included in sale but I can not guarantee they are good.
• Rear hatch struts shot.
• Plastic near seat belt anchor driver side broken.
• Exterior mirror pods are cosmetically challenged. See photos.
• Some cracked interior plastic. See photos.

• Two interior door panels from a low mielage 89 CSX
