And UPS just dropped off a clutch this afternoon. This is really gonna come down to the wire, even worse than last year.

Is there anything interesting, or touristy across the border in Canada? Undecided about the drive to Niagara Falls, but if there is something closer I'd be game. I'd hate to not use the passport being so close.

Niagara is a bit of a hike but cool to see.

I hear the "Windsor ballet" is popular for guys to visit on Friday nights

It's the only ballet I've ever been to. Well worth the price of admission, and with the exchange rate it'll be amazing what your money gets you.

Word of advice: When going into Canada don't tell the border guard you are going to the "Windsor Ballet".

    This happened years ago:
Guard: "State your purpose for entering Canada"
Us: "We're going to the Windsor Ballet"
Guard: "Windsor does not have a ballet sir, state your purpose"
Us: "We're going to the gentlemen's clubs"
    Guard: "Welcome to Canada"

The casino used to be the way to get waved in. I felt like I could just have a Wile E. Coyote sign and they'd clear a lane to let me through at speed.

Warren, thank you for clearing up what the Windsor Ballet is for me! That's pretty funny!

Trying to be on the road within the hour... only got 4 hrs of sleep. Sounded like a good idea before i went to bed, and less so now...

I'm heading out today. Just have to fill the car with water, swap the rear springs, and change out the fuel lines... I cut it off early last night so I could knock it out by noon today hopefully.

Of course it's now raining to beat the band. Good thing I have three cars in the garage and have been working in the driveway all summer.

    2 transfer gear swap
    3 work on logging device
    4 pm tow dolly
    5 front end lowering/alignment
6 fuel tank replacement with baffle
    7 configure/pack essentials
    And probably more i'm forgetting.

Thanks Pat. This is on Mean Mini. I'm with Wayne somewhere in West Virginia. We're towing with a dolly so we aren't stranded. But I'm having a hell of a time trying to locate the special order shock and guarentee delivery in time. And funny enough, Rancho might even be based out of Monroe, MI.
We'll still need to locate a replacement upper mount bolt

If anybody sees a Masi 16v powered anything, please take some pics for me. I wish I could have made it but it just couldn't happen. The economy is still digging itself out of the dirt here (literally... coal country)

The only missing part, other than the replacement shock is the upper shock bolt.
Might not be worth shipping that.
I'm kind of hoping Anthony Prior might be able to help out with that.
Unless he'll need the rear shocks for his push race of his van.

Looks like Amazon Prime to the rescue. Might have a replacement RS999006 on Sunday, but should have it by Monday.
