Is it possible to use a Moates emulator on my L body logic modules?

The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic dollars, how fast can you afford to go?
If you mean Ostrich 2.0 then yes
That begs further questions like,
What accessories do you need to connect it to the L/M?
You must need a laptop to see the data you want tO change, what kind of program do you need to display the data?
What kind of cable is needed to connect the ostrich to the lap top.
I already have a Moates burn 2 and MPTUNE on my laptop. Is there a video or other training aid that talks specifically about changing Chrysler ecm's
Thanks for any further help.
Jeff

The Ostrich replaces the chip in your LM using the ribbon cable.
You can't use the Ostrich to display data in MPScan, you'll need to rig a serial interface with the LM for that. There are instructions on the forum somewhere how to use an FTDI TTL to USB converter chip soldered in to the LM to do it, but that's old hat and I think there is a better way now.
The Ostrich is programmed over USB.
You won't need the Burn2 at all unless you want to do your tuning with the Ostrich and then copy that tune to a chip. It's not a bad idea to at least keep a chip in your car with a tune that is close enough to get you home should the Ostrich decide to flake out.
MPTune will allow you to read and write tune data directly to the Ostrich inside the program. First edit and compile your tune, then open the .bin in MPTune and flash it. Then you can edit and update tables on the fly.
You'll find a lot of information here: http://www.boostbutton.com/turbonator_wiki/doku.php
What would really be helpful would be if I could find somebody here in southern wisconsin who would be willing to help me find my way through this stuff. I am a computer user not computer savey. Anyone?
