I believe it's the purple wire with white tracer, but I'm going off of memory. On all the other cars that I've worked on it's the same color at the switch as it is at the headlight if I'm not mistaken.
I have easy access to whats left of the harness....went to aftermarket gauges LONG ago. My aftermarktet hi beam light quit, the speedometer I installed has a hi beam indicator in it and turn signal ones too, so if nothing else, I will run a wire from the hi beam connection at a headlight to the indicator.
