    Nope. Try again.
Post on on your FB, and we'll try to post it for you if it won't attach.

I don't get why so many folks have trouble posting pics here. Seems to always work for me. Unless they aren't showing up an no one cares to tell me??

Third try, this time used photobucket... Not sure why the forum doesn't like that picture... Are the other pictures working in the first post?

Nice! I saw huge gains when I did the exact same thing on my k car (ScAries). It's in my thread but I think I lost 4-5 mph going from that to a standard 3" swingvavle and downpipe. Switched back and find my mph again. You'll love it.

Heard a bang the other day driving down my gravel road, wrench isn't there anymore. Probably have some other junk wrenches laying around to weld in there.

As soon as I have some extra cash (in the middle of buying a shop) I am going to order one of these

I am hoping it helps with axle life and make it somewhat competitive in brackets.

Napa still sells the 5 speed shafts for about 60$ each. i wonder what driveline would want to rebuild them as strong as possible>?

are your motor mounts in good shape? is the engine centered?
mine made a terrible vibration and snapped the DS axle when i got it. found the engine/axles not centered.

    No restriction problems there lol

Is that the whole exhaust? Or does it merge into a 3" or something under the van?

Bro, where were you when all the Yahoo's were giving me grief about me preaching the benefits of a mandrel 3" right off the turbo vs Any stock styled W/G housing?!!!!!?

    That's it.

Its slow mo and before I installed poly mounts but shows where it exits. Really not bad to drive and I've driven it work on multiple occasions.

Do you have a pic of inside W/G flapper? I wonder if you're getting "Bad air" movement through that low pressure chamber before it exits out the tube.

Also, what is the ID of the W/G tubing? I found (on the NSRT-4's we built) that anything under 1.5" ID for external W/G caused problems depending on length of pipe.

I don't think I have any pictures of that, It is 1.5" tubing. I know that where the flapper is the flow isn't the greatest and could be part of my problem but I definitely gained control with porting the wastegate hole. Either way the new header will include an external wastegate and with the turbo in the A/C compressor location R&R of the turbo is very simple, back to back testing with turbine sizes would be very easy.

Re: Trying for fastest 5 speed minivan.

Would be interesting to see some BtB turbine housing/ wheel swaps.

I just don't see anything else in your build that says you're outflowing the .63 A/R stage 2. If the flapper is blocking or even partially blocking the 1.5" outlet passage I have to believe that's the problem.

    I promise it worked on a 2370 race weight, 4 door, 5 speed k car. :-)

I found my notes...different days, different tracks, different weather but I went 124-125 mph with my set up, went to 3" swingvalve and full 3" downpipe, went 120, switched back and went 124-125. Same boost, same nitrous shot, same tune up.

How do you (original poster) like yours on the van?

Re: Trying for fastest 5 speed minivan.

They probably don't make that swingvalve in the Chrysler pattern?

Not sure I would make the change right now, but would have it on the list if it was that big an improvement.
I don't know that it would help my boost control issues.

How do you like that change Ian?

I like it, I had originally built it for my spirt R/T back in 2009 and it really woke it up. I had the wastegate dump out the hood and a full exhaust. When I put the 50 trim on the van I cut the pipes off and reconfigured it to go down.

I did some checking last night and the boost doesn't come on as soon as I thought. I start building positive pressure at 2000 rpm and build 5psi for every 250rpm until 20-22psi at 3000 rpm. 3000 rpm is still a little too early for the intake and cylinder head. I'm at 20 psi from 3k to 4k and it starts to pull hard. In that 1000rpm window it just feels flat until it takes off at 4k. I suppose some timing might be needed in that area to help.

Is this directed at me Wayne?? If so, no it's made for the Garrett GT internal WG housing

3" exhaust pipe with 2" WG pipe.
