That's the one. I know we're cheap, but I've seen a few of us complaining that they're no longer made over the last year or so. I think there's a market for very small batches of them.

STill making what? This?? You know how cheap TD guys are.

Yeah, i looked for that housing after reading and found those pics. I think i had seen them before. I wonder if that turbine housing is less likely to crack than the older housings.
Also too bad that once you've set up your build to use the Chrysler style flange and housing its not eady to change.
Do you know what size the wastegate port and puck are in that housing?

I need to stop reading threads like this, because now i'm thinking about a turbo upgrade...

And that ATP Ultimate swing valve housing is only listed for Ford bolt pattern.

Interesting that the W/G pipe size is 2"

(although it doesn't look that big in the pics )

TU had the .63 A/R Chrysler T3 turbine housings remade. Wonder if its possible or likely to get a group buy for some similarly designed 3" v-band swingvalve housing?
The quality of the new turbine housings is impressive!
They do have their 3" swingvalve, but i think there is a small consumer market for both.

It better not for the price it is. It is pretty beefy. Though I did thin it out a little

I don't, sorry, didn't measure it. Pretty close to my TU 3" SV IIRC just from looking at it. I might be able to measure it, if I can I'll throw the # out.

I thought so too after you mentioned having issues with 1.5" pipe.

It's gonna be tight to get it back in the tunnel with the TBI setup. Looks like I'll have to do a tight radius 3" 180 degree mandrel turn straight back into a 90's and into the tunnel Then the WG pipe will have to come towards the motor, drop down between the 3" pipe and the axle and then hook back up over the steering rack and out.

Yes was just a pic for reference since the chryco isn't on the site anymore.

Chris has said a couple of times that his 3" SV's sit on the shelf for a long time. Getting a big company or even a small one like TU to make something custom that maybe 5 people will order up front is going to be hard.

Switch to billet? At 5 pieces is there even a cost advantage to casting? Or how many pieces were they casting?

So the current 5spd record is 13.0 then?

13.0 shouldnt be hard to break with a two step and slicks/good tires....
