    Omni question

Was wondering if anything suspension or brakes from a 89 Shelby Daytona would work on an omni.

    Re: Omni question

Front knuckles can work after some machining.
Front sway bar can work if you cut it shorter.
Rear disc can be bolt on, but 11 inch disc brake in the rear is too much.

Strut and shocks can't be used as far as I know.

    Re: Omni question

+1 for the 11" brakes being too much for an Omni. Under perfect conditions with great tires and the right brake pad combination it isn't bad, but as soon as it's wet or cold out the front and rear like to trade places.
