I picked up a spare engine from a wrecked car to freshen up and swap into my car. The issue is that the top of the dipstick tube was crushed and was bent at the block. When I tried to straighten it up, it snapped off at the block.
How do I get the piece out of the block? Engine is on a stand with the oil pan off.
I'm assuming that it's press fit like the turbo drain back tube, does it just get pounded up out of the block?
Does anyone have a spare dipstick tube?
