Since you are making the trip down here and I live 10 miles from Woodley Park, I'd be happy to go with you.
I quit going because IMO the organizers were disrespectful of the turbo cars.

I missed this thread, I usually roll up in something if the weather permits. most likely I won't be parking inside because I have a commitment in Dana Point at 1 on Saturday and they don't let you outta the show grounds early. Dumb rule. The GF and I showed up in two TC Masi's one year, around noon we had enough of that and tried to leave, I got away clean and she was right behind me yet they swung the gate closed blocking her in. She had to beg the gate guy (maybe more?) to get out. Absurd.

I'm like Johnl, I stopped going for the same reasons. Plus the spectators that came never looked at the turbo cars. It made me frustrated there are a zillon categories for the muscle cars, and everything else gets lumped into fwd.

I woke up to heavy rain in OC Saturday am. Kinda changed my plans to drive a convertible the 75 or so miles to Spring fling. Glad it cleared up for the show I jumped in my DD Ford and went to Long Beach GP instead. Ended up being a great day

Guessing the pictures are from Sunday's show.

Was that red Volare/Aspen wagon from the Fantasy Island tv series?

    Who had the DC Rampage?

By the way, your Consulier is here: http://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthu...cid=spartanntp

Good seeing you at the show.
