    Took my spare 2.5 motors apart

    so I started to take my spare clean motors apart for the mini build


    my one block. 89 2.5. has a crank # of 486176.
    my other block 93 2.5 has a crank # of 4448486


    any differences I figured they changed #

    Not that I can tell. I'm working on building a 2.5 motor for my Scamp. The original crank is casting #486176, the NOS replacement I bought is a 4448486. I can't find any differences in the two. I'm assuming at this point that the 4448486 is just a newer crank...

    Per the place I bought it from, there are several interchangable casting numbers:

    448176, 486176, 4483176, 4448486, 4448490
