need wheel weight numbers for oem 15s/16s

need wheel weight numbers for oem 15s/16s, esp 16" pumper and the standard 15" steel. All the other 15" alloy specs would be great for everyone. Was shopping for new wheels but want to shoot for a set lighter than oem.

Let the melee of info begin...

16" pumpers with caps are close to 20 lbs each, I just shipped 4 of them, yikes,

I bought some MB Weapons, 17", 12 lbs IIRC.

Lightest OEM wheels used on a FWD mopar? 14" Imperial rims, weigh ~ 12lbs each... Used behind heavy hubcaps, LOL... look liek steel, but they are aluminum. can be seen here on my neon

crabs are 18-18.25 depending on country of manufacture. Fiberides are like 1/4-1/2lb heavier than crabs.

14" voyager steelie (Same as all the other 5x100 steelies I think apart from those odd ones with an insert) with a 195/70R14 tire is 50lb, 15" pumper with a 215/65R15 is 45lb

Awsome, thank you! So it seems many of the 15-16" oems hover just at 20lbs average. Any ideas on the 15" steels?

No I looked long and long for a set of 15" 'steelies and never found any...well at least any that I thought were reasonable in price. There were some VW 15" steelies on CL for a while with tires for a decent price. I think they would be a bolt on deal.

VW wheels, have a larger center bore, so you can't center them on that without a ring, but also have different nut seats, they're spherical not conical... so don't use conical mopar nuts to put 'em on with.

Hmmm wait up, know for sure that 4x100 VW wheels are spherical seats, haven't confirmed it for 5x100.

BTW, I figured the tires for 20lb each with air, in both cases when I weighed those wheels so 15" pumpers would be the porker of the alloys at somewhere near 25lb and the steelies are somewhere near 30lb.

Hm, I've never tried to use the VW wheels but I was sure I read on here they were a bolt on affair.
