    Ported +1mm 287 G head

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

    Date: 31st January 2017
    Username: moparzrule
    Name: Matt
City, State, Zip: Carlisle PA 17015
    Contact: PM
    Price: SOLD!

*Sold the accanell #4 coolant adapter separate so it is no longer included. Price lowered and I will update with a new picture once I install a new freeze plug.*

Decided to go with a 44/37mm valve swirl head so I'm selling my +1mm G head. It is used with about 500 miles on it, but I had it jet washed at the machine shop to clean it back up some.

Fully ported, Guides were removed for better porting and replaced with new ones with the C clip (so they can't drop). Valves deshrouded (yes even on a G head), bowls worked, intake ports taken to gasket and exhaust ports taken to 1/16'' from the gasket.

    New guides (as stated earlier)
    MP +1mm valves
Comp cams springs (the ones TU sells)
    MP Viton valve seals
Crossdrilled for fitment on a commonblock
Head bolt holes drilled for 11mm

The head was surfaced when I originally put it on 500 miles ago, should still be fine. No cracks, no stripped threads, head is ready to run and make big power and with the comp springs you can run any cam you want.

*Note I forgot to remove the 2 plugs shown in the coolant jacket, I plan to remove before shipment unless you tell me you want them which I am fine with but let me know at the same time as payment.

$450 plus shipping, paypal accepted (3% extra), postal money order, or personal check (has to clear first before shipment).

Curious what does the +1mm actually equate to? (I don't know what the stock valve sizes are.)

yeah the intake valves are just plain gigantic when even compared to a +1 valve. But they take quite a bit more money in machine shop costs installing the new seats, hopefully the flow increase will be worth it.
